Happy New Year

Kate and Elijah go back to school today which means no more lazy mornings watching television and letting the kids lounge in their pajamas until noon.   Luckily Modern Wife is not working today so she can handle the bulk of kids duties while I work late.  

Kate and Eli were really cute when I left the house this morning.  Kate got ver upset that I gave mommy a kiss but not here, but I explained she was getting a kiss next.  Then Elijah, who was in the kitchen, demanded a kiss too.  As I kept coming back into the house after forgetting things the two of them kept demanding another round of kisses.  It was really pretty cute.  A very nice way to start the day, especially since I won't be seeing them tonight.
